Voting Question: Where can I get some longer surf or board shorts?

Does anyone know of where I can receive some longer(like just over my knees) surf or board shorts? I need some to wear at water parks so I can receive wet and dry quickly with out having the rub of jeans or the smallness of a bikini... Thanks! Links would be appreciated!

Hi my daughter is a 12 year old girl. She is 85 lbs and has no surfing experience. We were planning to go to Cancun Mexico in April 2013 and we were thinking about going surfing in the ocean (this would be the only time we would ever surf). O here are my questions... 1. Would it cost anything to surf on the ocean? 2. Would we be allowed to surf in that ocean? 3. Could you surf on one of those foam boards? 4. How big do the waves need to be for you to surf? 5. What size waves do you recommend for people who have never surfed before? 6. Do you need to be a certain weight, size, or age to surf? 7. Can you explain how to surf (It can be brief but I really need an answer)? 8. How far apart do you need to be from other people to surf? 9. Resolved Question: Should I feel insecure about my makeup skills?

I came to a realization today that my makeup might be a bit overdone and generally bad looking. Open Question: Why do people think that millionaires are living on giant mansions and yachts? I'm just curious?

I'm just wondering, I surf the internet a lot and a lot of people post on forums and on websites like these that they would adore to be a millionaire and be wealthy and stuff, now it seems to me that people assume that if you are a millionaire aka someone who's net worth is over 1 Million Dollars, you are living on some giant mansion, sipping 20,000 dollar brandy on your private yacht and then going on some private plane to an island or something surrounded by women wearing dresses fitted with diamonds. Now my question is, why is that? I'm a millionaire and would never even consider myself to even be close to being "wealthy", I have about 1.2 Million Dollars in the Banks and my net worth is of about 2 Million Dollars, and am I sitting on giant yachts every Friday sipping on expensive drinks? NO, I live in a 4 bedroom home with my wife and 4 kids and yes we are comfortable because I work my butt off, but we don't really have anything that is too luxurious, I mean I steer a Lexus and my wife a Nissan Minivan, I work 4-6 days a week and now I'm worried about putting my oldest son through college, whenever we go on vacation we DONT fly first class and I'm always using coupons and everything I can to keep money, so by no means do I live like people you look on James Bond movies or anything, heck, I'm not even in the Top 1% by my yearly earnings. So why do people assume that being a millionaire means living on a mansions surrounded by expensive things? I'm just really curious here. Open Question: How do you avoid Chafing on the head of your penis from the beach?

Very VERY awkward to ask this, but its true... Sometimes I go to the beach and at the end of the day I notice chafing on the head of my Penis. I basically notice it when I walk around or move my lower body, because the feeling of the chafing sends shivers down my spine, most likely because the head of the penis is most sensitive. I wear underwear below my bathing suit at the beach, but it doesn't seem to prevent this. What should I do? Also note that I am very active in the water, I boogie board, body surf, and run in the water.

Voting Question: Why have I never had a boyfriend or even kissed a guy?!?

I am 16. this must sounds really unhappy no? I have never been kissed by a guy. I am currently doing my AS levels, and I do artttt, music, spanish geography and english lit. I am not the nice of person that spends every day revising and working, infact I don't think I have ever revised properly in my life :/ I am not stupid though I do lots of clubs like swimming, choirs (I had a solo last night in choir! Whenever it's windy outside, my side swept bangs go nice of crazy. I have a pixie clip that I'm growing out, with side bangs that go across my forehead that I'm planning to keep. I put surf head styling cream (i guess it's cream, lol) on them every morning. I can't really wear hats at school either.

Resolved Question: Humidity resistant hair products for my thin, fine wavy hair.?

I live in dry Canada which is amazing for my thin, fine, wavy hair. Being so fine, it tends to receive oily really quickly. I use KMS volumizing shampoo which works wonders. I don't use conditioner that often. As for styling products I use (not every at once) Redkin volumizing foam, L'oreal volumizing Mousse, aragan oil on the ends and sometimes I use the Dove or Pantene volumizing mousse. I don't use hair spray as I've not found one that works for my hair. It more often than not, weighs my hair down after an hour. I've tried cheap brands and super pricey brands every meant to be for people with oily and fine hair. every the over work quite well here in Canada where it is dry. But in humidity, my hairgets so flat and gross and these products don't work. They react with the humidity to weigh my hair down as opposed to lifing them at the roots. If I don't use any product in the humidity, my hair looks terrible too. Its a lose-lose situation for me with or without product! I've wanted to try bumble and bumle surf spray, but I don't want to spend the money on something that won't work in my hair. I've used sea salt sprays in the past, and they make my hair too crunchy and thus makes it look more sparse than it is. I'm sure there is a product out there catered to people with fine, thin hair who adore in humid climates. Also, if any fine haired ladies out there have suggestions for ways to wear hair in humid climates (cancun), let me know. Thank you!!

Voting Question: Is my dead cousin trying to help me?

My third cousin died December 9th, 2011 from causes unknown to us still. I have never met him and his wake was the first time either at every or in a long time that I have seen members of my extended family and to say the least it bothered me that it took so long and that we had to wait for a death to bring us together. Anyways, ever since then I have been having A LOT of regrets about not knowing him, not taking the time to meet him and receive to know him. I miss him, and I didn't even receive to know him. But lately, unusual things have been happening that arrive with the times that I really start to miss him. I'd say it was probably two or three weeks ago, I saw something around the corner in the kitchen, it looked like the top of somebody's head and I thought it may had been my mom...but she was in the other room. That same day...later that night, I was sitting in the living room surfing the web on my laptop when I heard something fall in the kitchen...and when I went in there the loaf of bread that sits on top of the refrigerator had fallen on the floor but it wasn't even remotely close to the edge when I had walked past it only an half hour before then. After that things didn't happen for awhile, but last week when I was in the computer lab at school, I saw somebody out of the corner of my eye...I couldn't look it's face...I can never look it's face. But I could look the upper body of it and it was a man and he had short brown hair(like my cousin did) and he was wearing a white dressy type of shirt. So I turned to look who it was and there was nobody there, it doesn't take a second for a living person to disappear that quick. I'm never afraid of this...it's almost like they want me to notice them. Could he possibly be trying to make me feel better since his death has made me so unhappy? I wouldn't dare ask any questions about him to his brother or sister right now. And I don't know who else to tell or if I should tell anybody at every. I also want to add that I've been getting a lot of chills lately, more than usual. Like I receive real icy out of nowhere. Which I heard can arrive with the presence of a spirit.

Resolved Question: A question concerning my future?

Ok, So I'll try to make it as short as possible. I'm a senior highschool student from Kuwait, a tiiiny country in the Middle East. Today during lunch she wanted me to go with her to the library. She wore a jacket every day. When we got to the library she was telling me how she was wearing a push up bra. Resolved Question: People, what do you think of my personality?

Well, I tried this earlier and I realized it was very brief and just very annoying. Well, let's start. I'm very silent in class when I'm around people I don't know and have a difficult time making new friends because I reject myself so I'll think they'll reject me also.. I always wear bright colored skinny jeans and animal hats. It's not a sob for attention, it's just my style. I wear Pacsun pants and shirts, Urban Outfitters pants, shirts, and dresses, Abercrombie skirts, Holllister jackets and skirts. Most the time just colored skinny jeans and my Christian school soccer hoodie from a year ago or my Quiksilver hoodie. I don't care what people think of me and I'm crazy with my friends. I have ADHD and quite a few "disorders" (I disagree since disorders are just every in the mind.. Psychology is just a business like anything else). People DO like me, and sometimes I wish I could just fit in and be glad like them.. But the friends I do have are amazing and like me, mostly everyone likes me but I just never receive into deep conversations with them because I'd rather stay with my friends who I know I can trust rather than every the popular people who will betray you eventually, I don't judge people. Judging is outcasting them for who they are basically, I'm nice to everyone. I hate peoples actions for the most part since they every revolve around their possess greedy wants.. I adore making people giggle and pleasing them, but I feel like I can never do so and that I'm not good enough. I figure skate, skateboard, surf, musical theater, and play soccer to try to receive someone's approval but now I realized I don't need their approval and should do it just because I want to. Resolved Question: Why is it taboo when girls don't wear make up?

I don't wear ANY makeup or products.I take a shower everyday because I work out,skate,and do lots of sports.I do shampoo and conditioner 4-6 times a week.I skate surf, and just about anything else.People at school always ask me 'why don't you wear make up'. My dad always tells me why I don't or to wear some.What has the world arrive to? Why are you considered lazy if you don't wear make up? You don't think I make an effort? I wake up at 5 to do my yoga,then meditation,make breakfast for my dad and sister then skate to school.I have plenty of time to cake some toxic shit on my face but I pick not to.I want people to look me as me,not some processed version of me.Its not healthy to wear every that stuff.Why does society deem it tabo for women not to wear make up.

Open Question: If I wear a long-sleeve rashguard shirt under my fullsuit wetsuit will it add warmth while surfing?

I just got a 3/2mm fullsuit wetsuit and have a long-sleeve rashguard shirt. If I wear the rashguard shirt below the wetsuit, will it add warmth or will it make it colder and uncomfortable while surfing. The water temp is 55 degrees.

Voting Question: Why do a majority of my co-workers (the men in particular) appear to not like me?

I'm a young (early 20's), black lady, in a corporate office. I'm just the receptionist and I don't matter in the least bit. I can comfortably say that I finally known a vast majority of the people that certain calls receive directed to so I am not fouling up and transfer calls incorrectly on a regular basis. I am always smiling, and glad, and I don't focus conversations around myself. I don't swear at work (even though a lot of them do). I am allowed to sit at my desk and hear to music (with one headphone in and on low) every day and surf the net (I never go to inappropriate sites... No FB, No twitter, no social networking, or lolcats, or anything of that nature. So I can't look anyone getting upset about what I'm looking at. I have reviewed my wardrobe. I wear lots of greys and blacks with the occasional purple or red cardigan, nothing too short, no heels too high, no crazy coloured polishes (if I remember to wear any at every). I can't understand why a majority of these people walk by my desk and avert their eyes or just downright give me dirty looks. Like I said in the opening question, it's mainly men who do this to me and I can't for the life of me understand why. I treat them the exact same as the women and I give everyone the utmost respect. Please help me figure this out. It hurts my feelings because I fall over myself being nice and caring while remaining myself and not being fake. Why am I unliked?

I was surfing on youtube videos about an episode of taboo and furry came up and as I was watching it (I know im associated with them by anime such as deviantart.com) but I was wondering where do I start I dont have a fursona drawn or anything and I found out soon after on Facebook that someone I knew was a furry after looking at one of their post about a new sketch they did and it was a fursona so I talked to them at school and they just draw they dont wear fursuits or any of that. They had no idea about fursuits ether and were as of no help. I would like to know im 15 and dont have a job or a car so any ideas and im nice of nervous about doing it because its not that im scared as to what other people would think its just it would be nice of weird for me because ive never done it before. I know that when people that know nothing about them think its just some way of getting a sexual thrill so to say I defend them (found another pal that wears fursuits and a picture leaked out at school from when he was at one of our parks. He said his brother got him into it so he has no true answer for me.) saying 1. who are you guys to judge 2. what is normal and 3. Its what they like and they can do what they want. (after they were harassed they became depressed and started drawing more fursona s, which look fn amazing I tried cheering them up and it nice of works.) Sorry about this rant it just pisses me off when people judge people on things they know very little about. But could I please receive some ideas. Resolved Question: How to protect your surfboard? + More questions?

I'm 18, currently land-locked in CA, but I'm going to college soon. I already took lessons and have the basics down. I'm going to college on the California coast in the fall where I can learn to surf, hopefully with some other students. My uncle (who is a really good surfer) gave me a surfboard as a gift (he's awesome). It's supposedly a really nice one, and looks brand new with no wear and tear. I think it's a few inches more than 7' (around 7'3" or 7'4"). Is that considered a shortboard? If not, what nice of board is it? Is it good for a beginner? What do I need to do to use and protect it properly? (wax, a case, etc?) I'm just asking if I REALLY need a bag, because I am tight on money and need to buy a wetsuit still. Thanks for your answers!

Voting Question: How can I get rid of my eczema scars/discoloration?

I have had eczema every my life, and now I am 15. My eczema has gotten better right when I turned fifteen. I did a lot of surfing camps and I noticed that my eczema has gotten a lot better, and the scars have faded and I guess it blended in with my tan. Recently, my eczema came back but only a little. It's healing, but usually when it heals it leaves like a white mark or it blends in with my skin. But now its purpleish/brown and it looks really bad. I don't know what to do. I can't wear shorts or anything. What can I do to make them go away? Thanks so much!!

Voting Question: Is the Lasik eye surgery recommendable for someone who stays in the computer about 12 hours a day?

I wear glasses since 3 years ago, my vision is not as good to look things far away but I can look from close range. I wanted to do it to both of my eyes, lot of people are encouraging me to do it. But I heard it can be some problems if I use the computer or watch TV for a long time. I use the computer an average of 12 hours a day, I'm required for my online classes to do about 6 hours there, and the other 6 hours I am doing homework or surfing the web, plus I like to play video games for about 3-6 hours a day. I know its bad for my eyes and stuff, I'm studying computers and design so I will be spending more time on the computer after I finish my studies. So I don't care about your personal opinion, I want an answer about the effects that can cause the Lasik on my eyes with this living style. Would it be worth it? Would it help me for a long range of time? Would it worsen my condition? I'm less than 20 years old.

Voting Question: What should I get my brother for christmas?

The gift should be about 5-20 dollars. We dont spend much on each other. He's into music, fishing, boats, and surfing. I dont want to receive him a thsirt because odds are, he wont wear it. I got him a poster last year so I dont want to do that again. Does anyone have any ideas? Something that relates to surfing, fishing, or boats would be chilly. But idk anything about surfing, I dont want to buy him any lures or anything because I don't exactly know what he uses and stuff, and he already has a boat although I wouldn't have bought one for him anyway.
